Default Bogart Welded Floyd rt's

Rim screwed. 10 rim screws inside and out. Evenly spaced. I was real careful. 10" X 15" with 5-5/16" BS

Fronts are 3.5" X 15" with 2-1/8" BS

I mini tubbed and lowered the car. No tranny, torque converter, and drive shaft are in the car so it's not sitting where it eventually will set. The car needs cleaned up. I just ran a california duster over it.

Another few weeks and the project will be finished.

Thanks CAT3. I could have moved them in another 1/2" with the same tire. I have plenty of room in there. Shortened the rear 3" per side.

I can't wait to see your pics. Good luck at the track

Those look awesome. I just got the bolted floyds. How hard was it to screw the rims?

Sweet Tom.. is that your garage???? If so i'm soooooooooo jealous of your lift..... gotta come over late at night and grab that ****

wheels look sweet as well..... they are tucked nicely and look like you could even run a wider tire in there now....

Mike2002-Rim screwing is not hard.... i'm not sure what Tom did to get them even but i'll tell you my secret. when the rims come in take one of the boxes they come in and cut the bottom out so you have a flat piece of cardboard larger then the rim. lay the rim on it face down and trace the rim on the cardboard. then cut the circle out of it so you have a rim size cardboard template. measure it and find the middle and trace a line thru the dead center. then do a cross. then do each diagonal (like you're cutting a pizza) once you have the 4 lines drawn out (8 even points across the wheel) lay the template on the wheel and take a sharpie marker and mark the wheel on the inside at every point you need to drill a hole. use the right size drill and drill the rim from the outside in using a punch to start the hole (so you don't tear your wheel up if the drill decides to take off)..... once you're done mount the tire and get rim screws and get to screwing..... done deal....

Thats what I did thus 10 screws per side. I also turn the screw upside down and set the head on the lip of the drilling area and make a mark to ensure i'm not too far from one side of the lip to the other. I personally eyeball the drilling area. I don't use a template.

I had draglites too. I lined up the holes with a stick ruler and eyedballed them up and made an + pattern. Then lined up the holes again to make a X pattern and put 8 screws per side.

Yes that is my garage It's actually too small I was thinking of running a wider tire just because I can. But I don't need it.

What size tire is that?
That tire is 30" X 10" X 15".

do you have tubes?
No tubes.

Easy. Just take your time. Make sure to center punch. Then drill holes. File off the debris on the inside of the wheel with a fine file. Screw in the screws backing off a few times and then screwing in again until the threads are made. Then Screw the screws in all the way. Take all the screws out then file again. Thats the way I do it. I'm picky

Thanks for the props guys.

Hey Tom, glad all worked out well for you. Looks great. Shoot some full quality pictures over to bogartwheels@sjmmanufacturing.com so we can get them up in the gallery.

Just as a side note, the wheels have a special angle cut on the spokes. It is difficult to see in these pictures, but they are quite different in person. The special cut glistens in the sunlight as the wheel spins...like a diamond does when light hits its surfaces.

This is the first variation of its kind we made up. Tom was the first F-body to have this style. We will be re-naming them to possibly a "GT" wheel since there are so many variations in this particular style. They are NOT listed on our website as of yet, but will be shortly.
