Question I have a stupid question....

I'm probally and idiot for asking. But I dont have a rull book on hand.
Can you run spare rims upfront for skinnies? Maybe change the tires, or keep the stock temps on there, but use the rim? Since it is smaller and lighter than stock? thanks.

Not a good idea! Have you seen the speed rating on those tires, it's like 45 or 50 miles per hour? And dismounting one of those is not fun either!

The spare tires are rated no higher than 65mph a 60psi, for 3000 miles. I do not recommend using them.

The tire are extremly heavy and not speed rated. If you changed the tires oout for regular tires it could work but good luck finding a light weight, skinny 16" tire. The skinnest tire that is the same height as a 255/50r16 is a vanagon tire and the are load rated and that equals heavy. I am having a set of 16" stock wheels narrowed and I am gonna run 205/55r16 tires that are takeoffs from work. Cost me 100 to narrow 2 wheels at a local machine shop, and front tires will be free . All my wheels will match when I go to the strip also.

First off this idea is bad ***..... no matter what you cannot run the temp tires though and i dont think thats what rebellord was asking. There are lots of volkswagon bug guys running similar tire sizes. just do some research on tires and see what you find. it wuold be pretty sick to see the camaro rolling w/ donuts up front & cheap!
