Default ET Streets w/ street tires (radials) up front

Is it really as scary as people say it is?

I have a new 500rwhp z06 that I am running Sunday, and I have a set of 16" ET Streets to run.

Im worried about the ply bias and radial mismatch at the top end of the track.

Anyone run a high 10 second z06 on stock front wheels and 16" camaro wheels in the back with 26x11.5s? How was it?

I went 10.71 with Et's and stock 275's on the front in an fbod. if you keep the pressure at 18psi or higher in the ET's it's not bad...I ran a couple of runs at 15-16psi and it swayed bigtime at +120mph. Start at 20psi and ease your way into it....don't try to set a record on the first pass.

I have regular radials on the front of both my cars. It's not that bad, but trying to run with as much pressure as possible definately helps! When you run a sidewall with flex vs. a std. radial for the first time it might feel a little weird in the back.
