No Rear Sway Bar = better 60's??? I have been pulling 1.60-1.65 60fts on a stock rear sway... well i tried to rely on just the QA1's to control the roll{no rear sway}.. well i found letting the car lean harder to the right gave me constant 1.580 and under 60's..... ????? floating the front left wheel for a good while?? Will A nice aftermarket bar be the the ticket to an even launch that could pull lower 60's than my current best??? |

WOW great pics of before and after! Any numbers to go with pics?? |
Thanks... it went from high 1.5's to consitant 1.50's... this was on the motor with a 3500RPM 3 disk converter that was setup for spray and my little old 385CI LS1... I had trouble getting her to dead hook with spray... I am getting the car ready for the track again... now with a 427CI LS2 using ETP's new LS7 heads... I am also bringing down my race weight from 3400lbs to 3100lbs... so hopefully my sixities will improve as well :) |
Great, thanks! Im almost sold on the Wolfe Bar. I may try the shock settings one more time. But as a cam only ls1 car im trying to keep that title. and better launching and pulling weight has been my priority. I just dont get how nO REAR SWAY actualy helped my 60'...?? Did it load that one wheel better and help stay planted?? The car torque steered harder than ever!! http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...2002/wheel.jpg |
