i've kept my one pass wonder on record the past 3 weeks this is a 69 camaro cliped from the firewall forward and has a strut front end and a ladder bar. 1 hour 1 way
1st week the car broke the rear and twisted off all the bolts- that was in time trials (2nd pass)
2nd week the car sucked the intake gasket up (1st pass) for a 2 hour drive one way
back to bowling Green again (2hr one way) and it decided to spring a leak... we looked and looked and couldnt find the source... so back home we go...
whats sick is the car is just now getting deadly....
the 2nd and 3rd week read like this...

these were both first passes out of the trailor.... it just pisses me off i havent got to run a full race in 3 weeks
but i guess thats part of racing

its not a new setup by anymeans its just here lately i cant get my bracket car to make a full night of racing
the quickest it went was 6.09 at 113.... im sure if i fattened it up this fall it would go 5.9x but i have to keep it lean to run a consistent number...
its just bad luck when a bracket car cant go down the strip
the real bad thing is im soo used to it driving it feels really slow now... so i guess my procharged 408 02 Z28 wont feel fast when its done and i havent even drove it in about 7 months
oh well it'll just be a street race event car and fun on the roads....
next year though i might end up with another car... real fast... 4.10 in the 8th fast.... but we'll see if that sponsor pulls through or not
