i'm 5'8" 240 and my car with the cage daily driven wasn't that bad at all. to keep from having your head be hamburger meat in the case of an accident, that is why they make rollbar padding.

Not somethign teh insurance company will like much, but with the roll bar being in teh car, what differnence does it make at that point. If I weere to ever have a slight fender bender, I probably woulnd't even report it I'd just fix it myself and use it as an excuse to get it painted... if the car were to et totalled, I would have the car towed to my house and strip all teh stuff off it to put on the replacment, and then just scrap it.... even with my agreed value policy, I'd much rather have the parts then the $
I'm 6'5 290lbs and I have no problems with the moly 10pt thats in my car.. The ONLY problem is that the main hoop hangs down too low with my Corbeau CR1 seats. But, I have just as much leg room now WITH the cage as I did before without it. You don't have to sit straight up or right up on the wheel with my cage. You have full adjustability on the rails and you can actually recline the seat a bit too.
I've just gotta figure out something to do with the halo bar up top to get it out of my way with a helmet..

my friends WS6 has a 8 point in it and every time he gets pulled over its teh first thing that get mentioned, also the cop always sticks his hand in the car and grabs teh cage and gives it alittle tug to see if its really in there, its reallt funny cause they always do it.......
DD a 6pt rollbar, no swing outs. Wasnt too bad until I had surgery recently. Had to park the car until all the wounds healed up...talk about painful suprise when I tried to get back out of the car with fresh cuts from surgery LOL.
My insurance agent hasn't set one eye on my car since the day he inspected it after I bought it....never will either. I take the 6 banger bird to the insurance office if I need to go down there. SF insured...

the insurance is the main reason i never cancled the ins. on my car while it has been down for the rebuild (over a year) because i knew if i cancled and then started back up they would want new pics of the thing.
I don't know what kind of insurance you guys have, but not one time has any of my insurance companies requested pics of my car or came to inspect my car before insuring it. I just call em and give them the Vin# and BAM.. Insurance!!
Unless you guys are talkin about having it appraised so that the car is insured for more than a stock fbody since you have mods and what not..
