help with 60's

Here's is my set up.

approx. 3550 race weight, spec 4 clutch, steel driveshaft, 12bolt, true trac,411gears, sphon LCA's & ajd torque arm, pinion angle -2, MT ET Radials @ 17-18psi, & no rear sway bar (will be putting it back on it the next couple days)

My best 60' so far is 1.80. :bang: I want the car to pull low 1.6's.

What psi do you guys run in the MT ET radials or is it more in my susp. setup?

Thanks

It takes alot of suspension work to get a m6 car to hook on a drag radial. The car has to be able to transfer the weight and hit the tires pretty hard. I know my car doesn't have the right setup to hook on them right now, so I'm running a bias ply tire until then.

Is your rear sway bar gone? I have pinion angle at -2.5 and lower control arm relocation brackets ,no front sway bar , stock shocks on all 4 corners and I was running the 255x60x16 m/t drag radials at 16 -18 psi (depends on track) I leave at 6000 and up( also depends on track) and pull 1.59-1.62's pretty consistent.
Now , I have been to a track where no matter what i did they would not do better then a 1.88 which is why I sold them to go bigger.

One thing, dont over do the burnout. they tend to get greasy.
