Try a stiffer shock setting in the rear and lower the air presure.
I would also loosen up the front 1 click

I ran a 26x11.5 QTP 4.56 gears and launch off a two Step @ 6500rpm
Fronts 3, Rears 5 Tires 11.5psi Hot
I found that the QTP work best around 10.5 to 11.5 hot on my stick car

Try 11psi in the rear. I run between 9-12 for my slicks and it hooks hard. I bet you drop you tire psi to 10 and do a 6000 rpm dump and it bogs

I run quick time pro's with no problem, Make sure that you heat them up enough, do you have a line lock? I run mine at 15 PSI no headaches.

Mine wouldn't hold off the transbrake off my converter (about 6200) With 12 psi in them.. but I didn't really have a ton of time to play with the suspension and all.. I ahd the rears at 4, 12 psi cold in the tires.

I plan to try leaving at abotu 4500 to see what that gets me, as well as putting the front shocks on 2, and try putting the rears on 5, then try them down on 3 to see what that gets me. I think the 12 psi cold is about right, but I will try lowering the pressure to 11 or 10 fi I have to.

I'm on the 27x11.5x15 myself, depending on how these end up working out once I get teh car back to teh track again, will decide if I go back to m/t tires or stick with the hoosiers.... regardless which I do though, the next set will be 28's.

my first outing with my 28" ET drags I had 15psi and they would spin on a 6200rpm dump. I dropped them down to 10psi and then it was bogging. Don't be afraid to drop tire psi. Next time your at the track find a stick car that seems to be hooking the best and go ask what tire psi he is running if you don't trust what I say. Stick cars can't run the same psi as a auto and hook. Stick cars leave harder and need less air to hook. So what I would do is play with the tire psi and when it starts to bogg add tire psi till you get it to leave the way you want or adjust your rpm so you don't bogg

With a 6000 stall, I doubt it's ever really gonna bog.. but I will try dropping the air some more. releasing the transbrake, is very similar to a clutch dump, so dropping teh tire pressure coudl have similar effects.

So far, from the day the car ran 11.06.. I've removed 70 lbs and have removed the rear spring rubbers to get the car sitting more level hoping it will transfer weight better that way. I think with some more shock adjustments, and dropping the tire pressure to say 10 psi, that might do the trick. Find out soon enough.

If you remove the rear spring rubber to lower the rear of the car, you need to get LCA relocation brackets to keep the LCA level or running slightly up hill as they go forward.
Take a look and see, If they are running down as they go forward you won't hook.

I've already got relocation brackets on teh car, they were already one hole down from stock, I think it will be o.k.
