Default Can fans help lower IAT in staging lanes?

Since installing headers, my underhood air temperature is higher and this significantly raises my intake air temperature in the staging lanes. I have searched and found various threads discussing low-speed fan switches but I have found no mention of whether running the fans helps alleviate this problem.

I have a problem with high IAT also. I've tried running the fans continuously to no avail. They still creep up to the 115* range on a hot day.

My IAT is above 120F (50 C) on cool days! IAT only drops to 90F at the end of a run when outside air temp is 70F. The induction path stores too much heat and the sensor responds slowly. But thanks for the info that the fans are not the answer.

Has no affect on the IAT sensor, that and it would be reading erroneously

Gary, you have the "free" ram air mod done?
