Magnet Feb 1, 2007 11:19 AM

sweet..gives me even more reason to like him

Steve Burger Feb 1, 2007 11:24 AM

This should help us see the potential of the new block.

GREAT advertisement piece. too bad they use the DRCE 3 motors.

1fstTA Feb 1, 2007 11:38 AM

thats what I was thinking as well

patriotformula Feb 1, 2007 12:42 PM

ya lol.... theyd get destroyed if they even attempted to use the LSX block, WJ or not. Hes just advertising because he was a big guy in the design of the LSx (even has his own lightened version of it) coming out soon

He's got a bad ass set of cylinder heads to match it. The same guy that did the heads for the 372 ci motor in the dyno section did WJ's heads a few months back.

good things are coming from that lsx motor, with guys like WJ involved.. it's gonna be good. I already like the sounds of a lightened lsx block. Too bad that thign wasn't out a year earlier, I'd have built one of those for sure.

thats weird Mike since WJ has been famous for decades as being a bad ass cylinder head man.... wonder why he would have some other dude port his if he's so proficient on his own.

Warren and Kurt will STILL be the only ones running the DRCE3 block this season....and they will STILL be owned all season.

JRcamaroZ28 Feb 1, 2007 06:36 PM

i like it

JRracing Feb 1, 2007 06:43 PM

Sweet!

Hrod382 Feb 1, 2007 09:14 PM

WJ is the man, I wish I knew 1/3 of what he knows. That's the beauty of pro stock to me, most of the drivers (minus Connolly/Enders and a few others) were either engine guys/crew chiefs or both and came out of the sportsman ranks.

racer7088 Feb 1, 2007 11:14 PM

Several others will be running the DRCE3 this next year as well. NO LSX's though!

Um....WJ has had his heads done somewhere else for a few seasons now....and Jason Line/Greg Anderson are also using the DRCE 3 engines this season....

Good clarification. :)

patriotformula Feb 2, 2007 12:15 PM

...Even if WJ isnt doing his own heads, you can gaurantee hes working right next to the guy. Hell if I had unlimited resources I wouldnt do my own heads.
