New Centerline Convo Pro 15x9 wheels-Pics
Here are some pictures of the Centerline’s new 15x9 with 6.5”bs Convo Pro wheels with 275x50x15 tires on them.
As you all might know 15x7.5 5”bs and the 15.8.5 5”bs Convo Pro wheels do not require grinding of the brake calipers to fit our cars. The only small problems with these two choices are tire size limitations of a 7.5” wheel and the 15x8.5 wheels stick out a little.
I really like the look of the Convo Pro wheel and I think the 15x9 wheels look great on the car. The only problem is the 6.5” backspace does require some grinding of the brake calipers to fit our cars.
The picture at the link below compares the fit of the 7.5”, 8.5”, and the 9” Convo Pro wheels.

look really nice on a white car...why does centerlines backspacing seem so different compared to weld's? Do you have to run a deeper bs'ing in order to keep the wheels from sticking out to far?

Whether the wheels are Weld or Centerline the magic number for backspace is wheel width (9”) minus 2.5 to get backspace amount. This is not an absolute but it is close. The wheel sticks out of the fender a little if it has more than 2.5” of “front space”.
Weld 15x8 have 5.5”bs so 8-2.5 = 5.5
Weld 15x10 have 7.5”bs so 10-2.5 = 7.5
Centerline 15x7.5 have 5”bs 7.5-2.5 = 5
Centerline 15x9 have 6.5”bs 9-2.5 = 6.5
Centerline 15x8.5 have 5”bs 8.5-5 = 3.5 – These wheels stick out a little
The rear wheels and tires weigh 42.5lbs each. The wheel alone weighs 12.5lbs on the bathroom scale. The front wheels and tires weigh ~24lbs each.

I had the 275/50/15 on an 8 in Prostar with no problem. This is taken right off of their site: "Acceptable practice for rim width plus or minus 1.'' Their measuring rim for # 3753R was 8.5". If you look at the BFGs in 275/50/15, they say their minimum is 7.5" too. So 7.5" should work fine on the MT as well.

They make them in convo et,and warrior styles also now in 15x9 6.5 backspace if that
tickles your fancy. If you run 15x4 fronts with 2 5/16 backspace they will tuck a little
more but need some grinding of the caliper.
