I'd be more than willing to help out in any way possible if, and only if, when you go to make your first bargain for lengths (or whatever they call it) you have to claim you want 10 lengths because your vtec isn't working! I'd love to see that on nation tv!

8.50's is doable in a 6 speed, lee saunder's viper is living proof. how deep are your pockets! lol!!! it i sall about making power, and that equates to money. i would gladly bolt my six speed up to another car to drive that makes 1100 rwhp. and combo that with about 3200 lbs, and hold the f%#k on!
well actullyi don't think anyone has bothered to even try it in an lsX that i can think of. all i know is i broke my trans 3 times last year! it gets very expensive, and an auto is an easy way to remedy breaking parts.

I say run 3 kits- 1 moneymaker hidden DP and 2 kits on the outside. They will say you can only run 1 kit- o.k. we pick the kit . If you run boost and your kicking there *** bad they will try to limit how much boost. It seems that who ever plays the cat and mouse game the best and who ever has the better talker in there corner wins. Right off the bat they have the weight advantage so you have to go for broke on the engine to make up the diff. So where do I send my paypal money to?

290 posts!That was alot of reading.I for one would like to see a N/A LSX beat a FI mod motor.Any which way you guys decide to go I'm not gonna cry as long as you bring home the Stang.Go LS1tech!
I would say a huge supercharger or a big turbo/twins. N/A isn't going to cut it IMO since they are looking to run 8.5-9 seconds. 6 speed would be cool but let's be realistic, it's more of a handycap then anything. The fastest N/A car I've seen has been a 8.9 and that thing is crazy and I am pretty sure it is still the fastest N/A lsx car their is. I doubt they are going to be able to put together some kinda record breaker in a couple months time. I vote Big twins with a 400 and PLEASE use a 12 bolt or a Dana. Why put any Ford parts on the car in a shot out like this one.
