Kirkey seats w/o cage?

Just wondering if anyone is running a Kirkey Pro Drag Seat without a cage to support the back. Was thinking of selling my Corbeau Forza's and buying these for alittle more weight reduction. Just wondering if they would fold up on me the first time I hooked the car...lol. Thanks.

i know mine is pretty flemsy and would be afraid what it would do if the car hooked. i would say it is a bad idea. and another thing i think the pro drag seat has too high of a back, if you are going with a kirkey seat get the economy seat or jet the jaz seat (which fits f-bodys better than all of them)

Oh, didn't know that. I thought it looked tall, but just thought it did cause it was narrow looking. Thanks for the info. I'll look into the Jaz seats. I need a cage anyways, maybe I'll just splurge and get a cage/seats/harnesses all at once...lol. Thanks again. BTW what seats do you have and do you have any pics? Thanks.
