First time at track in a manual...any help?
This will be my first time racing at the track in a manual, so i'm not really sure how well I'll do. The track should be prepared well, my tires are 275/17's and they are in...OK condition, not really that great. BFGoodrich KDWS..
Only mods are...well no cat-back/muffler as I'm waiting on my Loudmouth, and SLP Lid. On the street the best I can hook up on is a 2000 rpm launch, what should I try at the track?
Also whats the best way to launch a manual. Just dropping the clutch(usually just bogs down for me), or letting out in a quick but smooth motion? Seems to work better, but it isn't always 100% effective for me..

nobody can really tell you exactly since the track you go to is different from ours and every car is also different. but with street tires i'd say in the 22-2500 range and slipping is going to work the best.
