What does it take to run 5's

1/8th mile of course, all im looking for is a Power and a weight in an f-body that could run mid to low 5's

Cubic DOLLARS, that's what it takes to run mid 5's in ANYTHING.

Ill put it to you this way, I know a guy with a tubbed out fully race prepped s-10. He runs a professional built motor that delivers 800 rwhp na and a little over 1000 rwhp on the juice. He has it set up to dead hook. He runs mid 5's.

Yeah, not really THAT hard...

400ish cubes, 88+ turbo, MT DRs....5s

I know of an F Body that made about 780rw and weighed 3000 w driver and ran a 5.56. I would think it would take around 1000-1100 rw at a class weight. 3200-3400.

making power is easy... getting it down the track is a different story...

I'm going to be making right at 800rwhp on the gas and right now im at 3150# and i've still got some reduction to do. I was hoping for low 6's but i was just wondering if i could hit 5's with this combo. i guess we'll see.
