So did you spin in that vid? If so you need to focus on that. The more marginal the track the softer I run the rear shocks. But Madman told me to keep the 325's around 17-18psi, so I would try to run them at least at 15-16psi to start.

Think I should raise the front ride height some? Also these tires are BFG's not M/T's. Will more pinion angle help, I was taught pinion angle will not affect bite. Kep in mind this car has a 3800lb raceweight.

It just looks underpowered when you first take off. Like there is a slight hesitation right when the tire first hits.
The car doesn't plant the tire and launch, it kind of rolls out and applies the power.
I would try to work at launching it at a higher rpm.
what's the pinion angle at now?

In the car I feel no stumble or hesitation.
Thanks for the input guys, keep the help coming.

I will stall the car and start there....then maybe my rear adjustments will have more affect on the car.
I am gonna take a break for a few weeks, wait for it to cool off some more and do some stuff to the car. I want a 10.99 slip BAD! A 3800lb 23* headed pump gas 383 LT1 in the 10's all motor streetcar is pretty cool(or so I think). That was the goal when this project started. ANything after that is gravy.

When I ran that 120 I was shifting the car(badly I might add) and the converter was not locking at 95 mph like it was supposed to. That has since been fixed. The trans shifts at 6600, and does it quicker. And the converter locks at 95 mph. With less fuel in the tank and cooler air I think I can get there.
And I think the car SHOULD sixty foot in the low 1.50 high 1.40 area.
These drag radials are 4 years old, they were inside...but still old.
When I bought them there were no other ones except BFG's That is all you could buy.

Lay off the cheeseburgers Dave. That couldn't hurt. Did you make room for taller tires? We could hook you up with a set of our take-off 295's....

Remove the passenger and rear seat when you go to the track thats like another 50 or so pounds.
Go on a diet thats 10-20 pounds lol.
a/c and all the heater crap and ducting is a lot.
The strange front brakes drop 50 pounds off the front and you can run 15's without a spacer.
k-member and a arms around 35 pounds less.
2 1/2" springs vs stock size springs.
