I would either use a M/T or Hoosier drag radial, you can remove the front and rear bumpers, thats 40 pounds right there. FRONT IS OUT

Remove the passenger and rear seat when you go to the track thats like another 50 or so pounds. REAR SEATS ARE OUT, TAKING THE PASSENGER SEAT OUT IS CHEATING

Go on a diet thats 10-20 pounds lol. GOTTA PICK ON THE FATBOY HE HE

a/c and all the heater crap and ducting is a lot.A?C COMPRESSOR LINES AND CONDENSER ARE OFF

The strange front brakes drop 50 pounds off the front and you can run 15's without a spacer. NOT!

k-member and a arms around 35 pounds less. HAVE A FRONT K MEMBER

2 1/2" springs vs stock size springs. HAVE HALS UP FRONT WITH COILOVER SPRINGS

Yes I think I have room. The 325 is 28 inches tall, a 295 is 31 right? That means on the top it is an 1 1/2 taller...right?

Maybe you need more converter. I know that Pinkenstein will need more to hit 10's all the time.

Take out the rear bumper it is easy. 20 pounds

remove the heater box and ducting under the dash thats a good amount.

Ditch the power steering.

Take out the carpet and use lightweight speaker box carpet.

Use aluminum door panels.

lexan windows

fiber glass parts, whatever you can afford.

Aluminum block, heads and intake or composite intake.

Every swingin d!ck has a car like that, I LOVE the look on peoples faces when I open the hood and there is no nitrous on the car .....and then they notice the opti, drag radials and I tell em it weighs 3800 lbs and is on pumpgas and I drove it 400 miles at cruising the coast.... PRICELESS.

What driveshaft are you running? I am in the same boat as you except I swapped to a tighter converter and slowed down to 11.30's now. Except when I turn the n2o on next time out, I should skip the over the 10's. LOL

A steel one from the driveshaft shop. Equal to a Denny's nitrous ready shaft.

Thoughts?

Bryan, BTW, I have BFG 325/50 drag radials, can I rotate them side to side? There is no rotation arrow on the tire.

David

What's weird was I scaled my old nova on 4 corners and when I got in the car the weight only changed left to right 5 pounds.
