Flex plate shield and sfi flex plate?

Fexplate shield is for 9.99 and quicker. I do have an sfi flexplate.

as far as the flexplate and\or trans shield, i would put one in anyway, there are alot of fast spinning parts in there i dont want to play with if they come out on the track, i suppose you could ask don garlits

Flex plate shield is like what? 100 something dollars, ever seen a flex plate come through the floor and saw off someones foot, cut fuel or brake lines?

Besides why pull the trans later to add it in anyways.

Like I say to everyone, a little extra safety is well worth the cost.

You could probably find one used for 50 bucks.

I am not saying I don't need one. Just that the rules don't require it. I will be putting one in. Does the tranny have to come out to put it in?

You'll have to unbolt the tranny to put it on, it gets bolted on top of the tranny to the engine block.
