VFN Sunoco Extended pinon pics?

Looking for some pics of how u trimied it to fit around the windshield. Got my hood needs a good amount of trimings and work to make it look good. not very impressed with the amount of work it needs

I wasn't at all impressed with the one I looked at last summer at the VFN booth at the NMCA/NMRA race in Joliet, like you said, it looked like it was going to take tons of work and was wavy as h*ll along the edges.

Good luck!

was a pain in the @ss. i found out after i did all the work that vfn will fit it to the car for i think $150. i would have gladly paid to have it done. i was itching for days from the fiberglass even after a cold shower.

Nice work on the hood.
I'm not a fan of vfn.

Well, I hope he is a miracle worker on the side ;) !

My car has one of these hoods, and the only way the previous owner could get the hood trimmed to the windshield and have everything fit well was to go ahead and cut the cowl portion back to nearly match the profile of a stock hood.

The scoop is still nearly to the windshield, and with the cowl trim in place, it looks pretty good. The benefit for us is that it provides additional cooling since the car runs a BBC and a carb.
