Another ET guess let see who knows their stuff
Ok heres the deal. Bone stock my 1999 T/A 8.8 with a 2.1 60ft at 82mph. Well now i have gained 15rwhp with lid and free mods and putting a stock mass back in(was losing 4 rwhp with a gms maf). Now i have drag radials and 3.73 gears and have lost 250lbs from the cars weight. What do you think is possible with a decent 1.8 60ft time. Will find out wensday when our track reopens. So lets see who knows their stuff.by the way the rwhp is 316hp and 322 lbs tq

Well 1.8 60 should be on the low side. With a stock 1998 t/a i got several consistant 1.7 60ft times on the same brand drag radials and for every tenth in you 60ft youll gain 2 tenths in overall et. Also dropping 250lbs is at least worth 2 tenths on its own. So adding about 15rwhp and gears it should be at least 8.1. I was on street tires cutting the 2.1 60ft. Remeber this is an M6 not an A4 so i dont need a stall to pick up my et. Correct me if im wrong people. Also when the 8.8 was run i was spinning and having to pedal it through second gear probably killing it at least a extra tenth. Also the 98 ran 8.1 with only 4.10 gears and et streets otherwise is was bone stock. I did break the drive shaft that night. Expected the rear end to go first. Also this will be done At elevation of 600 feet in 50 degree weather with near perfect conditions.

Well everyone that did read this. Yesterday was my first time down the 1/8th on a very very well prepped track. 60ft was 1.76 and 1/8th was 7.95 at
86mph. I was having a hard time figuring out why you guys guessed so high and most people with good traction were hitting 12.9's completley stock. I guess most every one didnt take into acount that bringing down my sixty foot just traction alone was worth almost .6 tenths. Then weight reduction took off a little more than .2 tenths a tenth for ever 100 pounds and i lost a little over 250lbs then also doing a cut out an mti lid and 3.73 gears and gaining 4rwhp from going back to stock maf made up the other tenth.

By the way i never guesstimated anything especially not 216rwhp. I got 316 on a mustang dyno and 322lbs of torque. Also the day of the 1/8th mile i gained a dyno 6rwhp by removing a/c belt and doing a short belt.

MY guesstimate TYPO of 216 was not to offend you...it's a typo. I did guess 86 or 87 mph for the 1/8th...nice time! 1.76 60 is VERY nice. With that, you SHOULD be solid 12.5s or better at the 1/4th mile track. (double checked my comment for typos this time)
