12's at Last
 

Today i finaly got into the 12's. The Spec Stage 3 paid off. My fastest time before today with the same mods running RACE PIPES and stock clutch was 13.09 at 110 and one run i reached 111mph(Slipping stock clutch at 70F degree). Anyways today my slowest run was 12.918 at 111.06 mph. and my fastest run was 12.764 at 111.98!! The track is 320ft above sea level and it was 96 F. And i was running the CATS, not the race pipes. For sure im going to try to run again with the race pipes before i put my Cam in because im sure 112-113mph will be possible.

I had a big problem trying to drop my 60ft. My best 60ft was 2.092 and most of the other 60ft's are 2.1sec. I know that my car is setup for road course and it is very stiff, but i feel that i can get a 1.9 60ft with my suspension and tire setup. I dont know what to do here?

Anyways Im very happy now :D . I cant wait to try my car again without the CATs and see how fast i can go.

Congratulations for breaking into the twelve's. Now you know this type of activity is very addicting and contagious plus you had to spend money to cure the problem such as headers, port and polish TB, ASP Pulley, car on diet for weight reduction, etc. Seriously, great time and good work. Thanks, I have headers already, but I wont be getting ASP pulley because im getting the procharger D-1SC in few months. Maybe i have to post mt TB later on. My idea is to keep my car daily driver(full weight) and at the same time i take it Drag racing, Road course racing and AutoX. So my car isn't good in one of the above, but it can do all of them just fine. :)

Oh by the way guys, how much mph could i gain from the cam(FM7 224/230 .587/.593 114) running Race pipes instead of CATS?

Good job. 12's are nice aren't they. it's nice to run that high of mph but too bad our cars are six speeds because 111-112 trap speed in automatics is good for 12.0's. Oh well.

Yes, very goooooood :), Im going tomorrow to another track and i hope i can get a new best. This time i switched back the OFF ROAD pipe and im hoping it can give me a few tenths and 1 mph more.
