I just got through wiring my autometer memory tach into the car and it works fine. But for some reason the Independant shiftlight that uses the pills isnt. I ran the Green wire on the shift light to the green wire on the tach and spliced it in there and did the same for the paower wire. I know I put the ground in a good spot because when I start the car I get the "Test" to come on. WHY is it not going off though when the RPMs hit the set pill RPM? I put a 5800 RPM pill in the darn thing and took it for a spin around the block and it NEVER went off when I hit 5800 RPM. I hit the recall button on the tach just to make sure I had the revs and sure enough.......6700 RPM.

Is the shift light like the tach and has to be set for the 4cyl. operation and if so how do I do it?

OK I am officially a retard. It have had the thing for so long and have had the cover over the back end of the light housing I forgot that there was a selector for cyl. selection

I feel pretty stupid sory for the bandwidth loss
