Those are custom made reactor racing flexplates....i remember someone on the board here tried buying directly through them one time and had one hell of a fiasco

i think if vendors start carrying them, hopefully that wont happen

Mine works great. No problems. A little heads up, the bolt heads for the converter will need to be machined down a few thousanths of an inch so they don't hit. Watch out for that. It's great a sponser carries these now.

Madman is carrying them and working with the manufacturer.

I think he's got a post in the sponsor section for them.

Looks very interesting!

It looks nice. What is the advantage of this piece over the stock one. Is it lighter or stronger? What is the benefit for drag racing?

mainly, its SFI legal now. I believe you need a SFI rated flexplate for 10.99 and faster

Yeah, so what are the benefits from using this. Won't it hurt you'r launch? What will you gain?

No real benefits. Just safer. Wont come off and up through the floor like a saw looking for your feet.

Is this for everyone with an Auto, incl. 4l60 or only the standard Chevy Trannies(Th200,35,400, Glide)?

IMO....SFI flexplates for any non-LS1 motor are becoming quite cheap and are still SFI approved. You can get them for about $60-$70

Right now the only 2 options are the LS1 that i know of is the reactor madman has (which i believe is aluminum i think) and TCI has one as well but im not sure if its available yet

FWIW, the SFI flexplate is required @ 9.99, but it's still a good idea to replace the stock one if you're running anywhere near those numbers...

When I pulled my motor out, I discovered that my stock flexplate was about to come apart... I'll be able to buy a nice inexpensive SFI certified flexplate for my new SBC motor.
