A lot of brake rotors and drums have some play in them, usually some of the holes are 1/8" bigger, as long as you torque them to the right spec you'll be ok. Mine personally fit on the tight side but I've seen a lot of those that fit loose my friend has a tire shop and does brakes and a lot of factory setups are like that, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had to drill mine to fit my 1\2 inch studs. A 9\16 bit fixed the problem.

are the hats drilled for 5/8" studs & your using 1/2" studs?
