Default I ran 12.8, but what SHOULD I be running?

I took my truck to the track a while back and I ran a best of 12.8@107. My 60ft's were in the 2.0-2.2 range. At first I was happy with my time, but I feel like I should be running much faster than this. My setup hasn't been fully tuned yet, but I'm working on it. I recently ran at a really bad track(old airstrip) and they clocked me at 13.0@97mph. I took off slow and hit the brakes early to avoid some dips at the finish line. And that track is usually 3 tenths slower than a real track(we checked on several cars/trucks). So that leads me to believe that I should be running faster at a good track. But even at that, there are heavier trucks with less motor that are hitting much better times than me. Does something seem "off" in my setup? What SHOULD my truck run?

If you can get the 60ft down to the 1.8 range then with your mph I don't see why you can't run a 12.6 or so. -Mark

Do you think 11's is possible? Or am I dreaming too big? My posi wasn't working and I wasn't tuned at all when I ran that 12.8. I was hoping with the posi working and tuning optimized, I'd be in the low 12's or high 11's.

Is it a ls2 motor? Heads? Comp.? A 950cfm carb sounds big to me...

It's a cammed LQ4 with stock heads and stock compression. The carb may actually be an 850 according to the numbers on front.

I'd say mid 12s as well based on the 60 foot and mph #s. Unless you get into the low 1.5 on the 60 foots I don't see 11s without more hp.

For some reason, I feel like I should be pulling down 1.7's for 60ft's. I see guys on street tires,no suspension mods, and full weight pull 1.9's. I have slicks, traction bars, drag springs, and weight reduction. I think I pulled similar 60ft times when I had a smaller motor(5.3) in a 5000lbs truck.

What do I need in my combo to get into the 11's? Like I said before, there's guys on here with less motor, more weight, and less tire that are in the low 12's and tasting 11's.

I'd like to get into the low 12's to high 11's then use my 150shot to get into the low 11's.
