Default ran a new best, what can i tweak ...

ran my first ever 10 second pass at 10.67@126, with a 1.51 60'. I realized on my last 2 passes I didnt do a burnout long enough and spun to a 1.66 and 1.68. (10.89). my car is unloading too quickly and spinning 5-10 feet out.

the video is here: LINK
It's long, sorry. I made 3 appearances with my blue Z28.
This was my first runs with my Midwest Chassis 9" and it's working flawlessly. right now i have the LCA's in the second to lowest hole, and the front instant center adjustment on the lowest hole on the front. I want to figure out where to go from here.

my setup consists of:
stock shortblock with ARE ported heads, TSp Torquer 2 cam on a 113, Yank SS4000 stall, built 4L60E, 3.50 geared 9" with solid anti roll bar, HSW 150 wet shot, 275/60 MT ET radials, qa1 fronts (set on 2 soft) with 275 springs, and some bad Comp Eng shocks out back with stock springs and stock spring isolators. one comp shock wont adjust from 70/30.

my technique is launching on 18psi air, footbraking to 2000-2500 rpms and spraying out of the hole.

any ideas on what to adjust to get that 1.4X 60 foot?

thanks guys and Thanks to FROST for the video.

Maybe its just me, but the front seems to be too soft. A set of QA1's on the rear wouldn't hurt you either..

the first pass was set to 2, the 2nd to 1, and the 3rd i went back to 2. the weight transfer felt better set on 2 and it felt like ti stayed loaded longer. I may need to try 3 up front but for right now i either gotta keep the COMP shocks in the back or go back to the stockers.

i was hoping to launch off idle. i wonder if the tires would have held? I would have scanned and known actual rpm figures but I couldnt get my laptop to connect before the passes

i'm having almost the exact issues as your car ,it leaves very similar too. i have qa1's out back though but no anti roll bar. i put down 1.55 but i was told it spun some on the 1.55.. i had the front set at either 1 or 2 clicks and the rear at about 8 clicks... 18psi on 325's.

here is my video,

i only post this in here because i would like to have the same information.
