Default t/a in 1st gen?

Anyone swapped one of these in for drag racing yet?
I got a complete 4th gen 9 inch sitting here and im thinking about tossing it up there and sitting what happens.

I'm not sure you could just toss it in there, "some" welding/fab work required. If you can get it in there it would have to better than leaf springs & slapper bars.

I haven't seen one, but keep in mind there are guys in the 7's on drag radials on leaf spring set-ups with Cal-Tracs. So don't count out the stock suspension yet!

Oh I know, I just thought it would be cool.

And im aware I cant just toss it in, but what I more or less meant was, throw it underneath and see how it lines up before I start thinking any more about it.

it wouldnt hurt to look at it. if it looks good and you feel you could fab it up then go for it.
