Default R stock springs&shocks my bottleneck in my quest 4 traction?

I have just about every rear suspension upgrade possible except for shocks/springs, yet I can't get traction on our tracks in AZ . A big part of that is that they are always poorly prepped, however, I think my stock shocks/springs on the car are partly to blame.

I have the following suspension/drivetrain/tire mods:

!front sway bar
1LE rear swaybar (with stock endlink bushings that are eaten up)
Hotchkis Lower Control Arms
Spohn 12 bolt relocation brackets setup for maximum bite
Hotchkis Adj. Panhard Rod
Random Tech. Adj. Torque arm set at -3 degrees pinion angle
Weld on Chromemoly Subframe connectors
Tranny Mount
12 bolt with 4.10 gears
Hoosier 26.4x10 slicks

I even have an aluminum flywheel for crying out loud and I still can't hook even with less inertia I'd like to leave the starting line at 6500-7000 if possible...and whenver I do so I spin. If I launch easier off the line (under 6000rpms), I bog down to 3000rpms with the lighter aluminum flywheel. Eventually the steel flywheel is going back in, but if I can't get traction with an aluminum flywheel, how will I get it with a steel flywheel?

Are HAL's going be my savior? Is that the missing link in this equation?

I have cut 1.48s and consistent 1.50s this year. I am running stock shocks/springs. Tracks around here leave a lot to be desired as far as prep goes.

FWIW, I never hooked on 26"s. Had some buddies talk me into 28s and 4:56s and Ive been GTG ever since. Might be worth doing.....

Looks like I may have to consider this route, thanks- I stayed away from it in the past because everyone told me I wasn't making enough power to run a 28" slick

I use 27x11.5 QTP hoosiers(4.30gears)@10-11 PSI cold.
7k launches are no problem, although the 2 step is set @6500.
The best I've pull is a 1.511 with an aluminium flywheel and 385 RWTQ.

My tires are actually 26.4 inches tall, and I run similar tire pressure to you...I run about 13.5psi hot. I also have less gearing that you too. Maybe I just need to air the tires down a bit more to about 12 psi hot and give it a whirl, sigh.....
