Finally had some spare time to venture out to the track. Been driving the car for the last couple months in street mode. It was really nice to drive it some again. Got my last little nitrous gremlin fixed, guess race spark plugs don't like to much street driving so I just put some TR6's back in.
Took the electric water pump off and put the P\S back on for street mode.
Put the slicks and skinnies on and swapped the full exhaust for bullet mufflers friday afternoon to get ready for some Saturday midnight racing at NPR. Racing was delayed a little from earlier rain delay with the points race thay had. Finally started at 12:30. Had trouble keeping bottle pressure above 900 psi. Forgot the bottle heater at the shop, so I had to keep taking the bottle out and using the truck heater to warm it up.

3rd pass, around 1:45 Left at 5500,and shifted good but the track was starting to go away with from street tire cars and humdity. The starting line was starting to get bald spots

4th pass,2:20. Tried agian but still no good traction. pulled a 1.44 60' and ran a 10.04 at 138.98
Still no 9's but had fun and got a new best in worse weather. All runs were with the progressive controller off with 250 jetting at 3390lbs. May try to go next weekend with the controller on before I start preparing for the TR race. Really hate to put a auto in the car just to get a 9 sec pass. Also, Congrats to Ron (Cammin BeaSSt) for a new best and getting the boot off the track. Glad you got to race at NPR and hang out for awhile.

That's gotta hurt getting so close but it will make it even more sweeter when you do All you need a low humidity night for the track to stick and you will hit 9s easly.

Dyno's 484 N\A and 680 on the 200HP,haven't dynoed it on the 250HP yet. On the MPH, once you start going past a point the power needed starts to double not like spraying a 125HP on a 12 or 13 sec car and picking up 10MPH
It rained at the track yesterday so I will try tonight at SCD.
