Question Anyone have ls 395 dyno #'s?

Anyone have dyno#'s for an Ls 395 stroker? I am building one up and would like see what other people have obtained from their combos. I know this is not a popular build but the torque should be great. Just let me know. Thanks in advanced.

Need more information. What's the actual block you are using? What's the actual bore and stroke?

LS6 block. 3.9 bore 4.125 stroke. 395 cube. Lunati crank, Pro billet rods, coated pistons-flat top w/ valve reliefs. lookin at 11.5:1 comp. I'm looking at TFS 225 heads w/ TFS235 exhaust valves for spray. 240i 252e .6lift 112 lsa cam. SVO 30lb injectors. Full fuel sytem upgrade (lines, dual intank pumps, fuel rails ect.) Up to a dual system 300 shot w/ dedicated fuel system. VR ported fast 92/92. I just want to know if anyone has done something simular and what I could expect for an A4 car w/PI 3600 nitrous stall and 9" w/ 3.70gears. Also a true dual exhaust sytem w 1 7/8headers to elec. cutouts. I don't know if it matters on the dyno but it also has an Evans cooling system. Thanks for any posts.

I have a 395 like this. Before the blower it made 490/470 and had power everywhere. I had the Fast intake 30# injectors, 240/244 cam 1 3/4" headers LQ9 heads. I changed the heads and added a DISC and this works good also.

Not bad. I'm hoping to get close to those #'s or better through an A4 NA. Idon't know if this goal is realistic but I hope so.

Why did you choose this build? Just like being different? I mean, that's cool and all.

I actually had a 402 shortblock built w/ eagle crank, rods, and arp2000 rod bolts. I was awaiting more funds for the top end but I came across a deal I couldn't pass up. My friend had a Z28 Fully built w/ motor, built 4l60, 9", nitrous, the works. All with about 5k miles on the drivetrain. He became a cop and got outta racing and now has decided to join the Army so I bought it for an absolute steal. The motor as I mentioned earlier is fully built w/ all the best parts. I bought the car for less than he had in reciepts on the motor. So I sold the 402 and plan on swapping everything into my TA (I just like TAs better and I got alot of sentimental value in the car) putting the Z28 back to stock and selling it to get some of my money back out of it. Along the way I'm upgrading a few items during the swap. Oh and it was built by a highly reputable shop. They are known for being VERY meticulous.

Some like more square motors, but I agree with the others. Should have plenty of tq. Most with similar setups notice more oil consumption.

The 395's are torque monsters for sure the TQ is from idle to redline. Get good tires.
