Default TSP/PRC 215's, TQ3, RPM Ported FAST 90/90..

Guys we got a chance to test out the new PRC 215's again. This time around we tested them on a customers 2002 Z06. The customer already had a full bolt on car including a TSP Torquer V3 camshaft and a RPM ported FAST 90/90 combo. So the only addition's were the PRC 215's and a Powerbond U/D pulley. We were quite happy with the results again ! For the power this car has it is super streetable and very stealthy with the stock TI exhaust Here is a run down of all the parts installed on the car and a before and after graph.

2002 Z06

PRC 215's (60cc's)
PRC .660" springs
TSP TQ3 (231/234 643/598 111)
TSP 7.450 pushrods
Cometic Gaskets
Powerbond U/D Pulley
Racetronix 37# injectors
ARP Bolts
RPM Ported FAST 90
RPM Ported LS2 90 TB
MSD Wires NGK TR55
Kooks 1 3/4" LT's
Kooks OR Mid pipe
Stock TI exhaust
Tex 0Z700
19" Wheels
Stock WP,MAF,Gears,Rockers
RPM Tune

For those that can't see the dyno graph it made 479 rwhp 418 rwtq...

40+RWHP Gains OVER A LS6 HEAD!!

That is completely impressive guys, glad to see it's working so well for you! How's the customer like being a few tweaks away from 500rwhp with a Torquer 3??

They were 7.450" pushrods though Jason!

+44 rwhp +22 rwtq from heads and pully !!! Not to bad considering those were ls6 heads to begin with !!!!!!!!! Too bad you didn't have a graph with JUST heads swap, I'd be curious to know how much the ud pully helped. Throw an ewp on there too and watch the gas mileage go way up when in cruise mode on the expressway. I bet this car is going to be very close to 500 rwhp when its all said and done. Nice heads TSP !!

We usually see 5-7 rwhp out of an underdrive pulley.

I don't know which gaskets they used...so I'll just throw out a few numbers here to get you an idea of what it is, roughly.

.053" gasket ~ 11.3:1
.045" ~ 11.5:1
.040" ~ 11.6:1

The more I read about these heads, the more hooked I am getting on them!

I for one would love to see some side by side dynos of the PRC's and AFRs, ETPs, TFS,etc. You TSP guys have one helluva set of heads working there that can definitely compete w/ the top dogs of the aftermarket head industry. Good work!

The Tsunami is in my car at it drives really good. My car is tuned SD right know and it's still doing well on the street. The Torquer V3 drives a little better.. but mine is a 98 so the computer is not nearly as good as one in a 2002 Z06.. One of our mechanics daily drives a stock cube MS4 in a 2000 Z28 and I think it drives great !
