SAE or STD? It doesn't say.. I got my car dynoed and the sheet they gave me doesn't say whether these numbers are SAE or STD. Besides asking them is there a way to tell? http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...elsDYNO001.jpg By the way, what do you think the numbers should have been after a tune? Car has Pacesetter LT, ORY, Flowmaster cat back, LS6 IM, stock TB, SLP lid, no free mods. Car also have LS7 clutch with the heavier LS2 flywheel. |
i think your numbers are horrible, corrected or not..... stock the worst you should be is 280rwhp the A/F is WAY LEAN and thats where youll get all of your power back. your car tuned should be putting down at least 320-330 -brandon |
Wow, 16:1 AF at 4000rpms, I guess that's why the pull stopped shortly after a 4200ish rpms. Get it tuned and redyno, like Brandon mentioned in the previous post you should be 320ish rwhp SAE with longtubes and tuned. |
You saw he pulled out at 4,000 because it got too lean right? |
Yeah and you still made 308rwtq by 4k, torque still didn't peak and hp not even close. Get a good tune, it will make power. |
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...nielsDYNO2.jpg This is what I made, only made 3 pulls total. The first one that I posted. Pulled 305 the second time and this the last. Putting the cam in this week so no point to keep tuning just getting it driveable. |
that looks better |
I thought I could stir some shit up with the first dynagraph...Guess not. I tried... |
you didnt wait long enough lol.... how was it even possible to dyno that low anyway? |
let off at 4k and it was lean. And not much stir is going to happen in an hour lol. |
Std.. |

What is STD correction??? I know SAE (society of automotive engineers) and STP(standard temperature and pressure), but I keep seeing STD...... |
all correction values have a different factor using temp and barometric pressue ,std, sae, din,or jis. std usally shows higher numbers than sae |
^^^What he said..usually around 5 hp difference or more if your makeing more power.. |
what kind of dyno was it on? |
Dynojet |

Haha, even with the horrible tune, that ridiculous table of a torque curve should have given it away that this was not an LS1. :jest: |
