New dyno results from a header change

Well for the ones thinking its not worth it good for you! However I am out to run as fast as possible and am not happy running the normal mid-high 11's in a H/C car like most.
Some of you just look at peak gains and are truly lost, if you think 10-15rwhp and 10-15rwtq+ throughout the whole curve isn't worth it than I have no need to get in discussion with you. If you don't like my thread then no need to post as well easy as that.
The gains are huge IMO from a header swap especially when it still performed like it did with massive valvetrain issues. I posted legit facts with no "tricks" its a true before and after with all the exact facts posted, not sure what the problem is.

Sorry if that came out wrong. Wasn't bashing the results or your work by any means. It's great to see a direct swap graph.
BTW, was any tuning done after the header swap?

Nice gains in power for sure !! Love seeing power in the daily driving range (3000-4500) go up. I'll bet the car is going to be even more fun !! Thanks for posting. Good luck sorting out your valvetrain issues. Should pick up even more power once that is solved.

my bad, i thought the "additional tuning" was converting from maf to sd. nice results and numbers, but i wouldn't have done the same thing. i'm glad you're happy, that's all that matters. if it was tq/hp under the curve i was looking for, i would've put that $1,xxx toward a stroker rotating assembly. to each his own, you've got a nice ride.

definitely a valve train harmonics issue.
the gain throughout the rpms was good.
Im running 1.7 harland sharp RR's with no issues.
I dont like patriot springs get the comp 921s and do it right one time.

If the springs check out ok, we are going to throw on the stock rockers and see if that fixes the issues. Really trying not to spend anymore money on these heads, I'd rather put it towards a nicer set of heads and make more power.

The Harlands are heavy on the nose. They dont work well with aggressive cam lobes. I think you will find most of your fix in going back to stock rockers.
Congrats on the gains. Power under the curve is CRUCIAL and alot of people dont see and/or realize the difference when its just on paper

here is the latest update from getting a couple of the springs tested. I'll just copy and paste what Jonathan told me.
I will say these definitely have less than 5k miles, probably more like 3k miles. He also said if you stood the two next to each other, one was almost an 1/8th inch shorter. WTF!
I just got a couple of springs off and tested and they deffinately have issues. The springs look like the typical .650" lift springs from patriot or TSP and should check 140 lbs. @ 1.800". Anyway, the first one checked out fine, and actually had 145 lbs. @ 1.780 which is how they were installed. The other one however came in at only 120 lbs. @ 1.780. If you stand them up beside each other you can litterally see that it is a little shorter that the one that checked good.

Lets hope thats it, Im going to get some PAC 1518's and was told just to use the steel retainers and I should be fine bc the cost of the ti's isn't worth the 3g savings. I guess we will see soon enough. Sucks I wastes $250 on what I thought was a good dual spring kit.

7hp and 5tq is about what I would expect to see on a Stock cubed motor with a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 swap. I don't think it has much to do with brand.

Glad you found out the issue Blu...brian at hitech motorsports told me to not use Ti retainers because steel retainers will do the job very very well; and like you said the Tis aren't worth the extra cost for the minimal weight savings.
