Default 02 SS Livernois LS6 Stg II , TSP 224 , Frost Tuning

i finally took my car to the dyno to really have my car dialed in . Steve Frost of www.tunedbyfrost.com came out to Perfomance Autosports to "get'er done " !!. First let me say that Frost did the street tune on my car over year ago and it was great. The only thing i really want to do was add a 200-300 more rpms to my shifts . He said lets take it to a dyno and really see whats my SS would really put down.

DYNOJET / . CF: SAE Smoothing:5

First pull was on my street tune by Frost over a year ago .....
..... Max Power= 397.90 Max Torque= 376.47 ... nice !!

not bad for just gunning it on the street for tune .

Second pull was....Max Power= 401.19 Max Torque= 376.47 .....SWEET !!!!

Last pull ended up with Max Power = 403.44 ..Max Torque= 377.04 ..

Frost tuned this my car within 6 hp on a dyno with a street tune . The man knows his stuff . I'm happy with the results cause my car isn't radical set-up and it's making over 400 at the rear . I got my extra 200 rpm shifts i wanted and the car pulls like a beast !!

Mods:

-Livernois Motorsports LS6 Stg II 243 Heads
-Texas Speed 224 XE Cam .566/.566 115LSA (small cam )
-3200 Vigilante Converter (stock gear 3.23)
-SLP Longtube Headers, SLP Catz !!, and Lid
-Stock Exhaust SLP Dual-Dual Catback ( It's an 02 SS Camaro )
- www.tunedbyfrost.com Steve Frost

not a bad combonation at all with great street ability ,a/c , full leather and able to pull into any inspection station in VA without any worries. I love it !!

Nice numbers Mac. I've got a set of stock 243's off an 02 Z06 and I'm considering a very similar combination. Get that thing to the track and post up the numbers . Post a graph if you have one. Congrats.

lol....i know , TXZ28LS1 . the best part about it , i don't even have a cut-out on my car. i couldn't imagine cutting into my 304 stainless steel SLP cat-back exhaust. i'm not knocking anyone that has done it ,but it's just not for me .

Thanks 02Wife . it goes to show that you don't have to have a supersize cam to make power !! mild set-ups aren't as mild as people think .

if you drove it Chris , I know i would have to call the cops to try and get my car back . hopefully when all this rain we are having pass , I can get out to the track and see what my little extra rpms may give me . I'm guessing a .15 tenth and maybe 1-3 mph . maybe a little more. the goal is a 11.6-11.5 car and thats fine with me.

Nice Mac. It was nice seeing you up at Richmond a while back. Let me know when you plan on going again. I will try to make it out with the silver car. It is up on jack stands right now, though.

Always nice talking/working with ya Mac; thanks for the kind words too.

This combo drives very easily and very well; with great numbers to boot it seems like a total package.

i'll take you for a spin , Chris. to be honest ,the way my car drives ,you wouldn't think it has a stall in it or a cam for that matter . Frost really nailed the tune on my car .
