Sounds a little on the low side but I've only heard good things about Vector. Real question is how does she run? The butt dyno is more important to me than just numbers...

Mustang dyno's normally read low, but I would most certainly ditch the LS2 intake manifold it's no good. You should see a good pick-up at the wheels with a fast 92 or even a LS-6 intake.

I just got off a mustang dyno and wasn't happy either.. so don't let those low numbers stop you from running good times...

I agree. Mustang Dyno. Your car will probably show up real well at the track.

Those are real world numbers for a mild setup, with a loose converter and that type of dyno.

Put a sticky tire on it and take it to the track. Try not to pay too much attention to the internet 450rwhp dyno manual trans cars in your rearview mirror.

You may want to reconsider that converter you've got though. A more aggressive stall speed coupled with a more efficient design will do wonders.

Well I just ran this car at the track...... Went to Lapeer drag-way (prolly the worst dragstrip in MI)/ Temp was about 65 deg.

It rained a little bit when I was there. The first run I spun so bad I just coasted to the end. The next 3 runs were consistant but not very good

Run 1 / Run 2 / Run 3

60 ft 2.1 2.09 2.05
1/4 ET 13.0 12.92 12.90
MPH no MPH 106.5 106.9

Like I said it rained there. Car does have suspension mods. 17 PSI in the nitto drag radials.

I'm not worried about the times at all cause of the traction issues, but isnt that 106 MPH pretty weak for a 390 RWHP H/C/I/E car?

Yea, that MPH is pretty low. 60' is obviously poor. I cant stand Victor, Steve is a dumbass. Kirk might be ok, but ill never go back there... He left me with a car that idle like crap and was stalling twice a day.

Because steve is a complete retard. I brought my car home, stalled many many times. Hooked up my HPT and my AIC counts were zero throughout the entire temp range. Something so easy, and he didnt catch it.

Steve did not do ANY street tuning. I paid for a FULL Dyno tune. He took it for a 5 minute (Literally) drive. Thats it. A damn monkey can tube WOT on the dyno, the hard part is getting the driviability right.

I would never, ever, recomend Vector to anyone. Screw Steve, and his bitchy atitude.

I just ran the car at the track again.... Same low 106 MPH....

This time I ran at Milan dragway (much better than Lapeer)

Run 1 Run 2
60ft: 1.76 1.93
1/8 ET: 7.8 8.1
1/8 MPH: 87.5 87.1
1/4 ET: 12.40 12.76
1/4 MPH: 106.8 106.3

I cleaned the air filter between this trip at the track and the last time as well as checking all of the TR55 spark plugs. They all looked great and I reset the gap at about .52

There was an LS2 GTO there, M6 with heads and cam. STOCK LS2 intake and he ran 12.1 at 117 MPH - So I dont think my ported LS2 intake is the problem.

My guess is the problem is either the tune or the Fuddle converter. I am sure it is one of the two.....

yup i agree mph is very low for the mods. A stock ls1 can hit that mph. What rpm are you launching at?

There is something wrong with that car if it's only trapping 106 with those mods. It should be in the mid to high 11X range unless you're in a TERRIBLE DA. What's the elevation there?

Milan dragway and the Detroit area is about 600 FT above sea level

My car trapped 106 bone stock on 7 cylinders...

brand new LS1 Longblock from GM and full exhaust and I was trapping 111.....

added a Cam and now im trapping 116.

Your tune is shitty, or your verter isnt helping you....or its both.
