I've heard so many good stories and so many bad stories about local tuners that I won't recommend any of them. Take a chance or hit the road and go to Vengeance Racing. Mike at Vengeance is so good that he will probably nail your tune via mail. I believe they offer free updates if the car isn't running correct after the mail tune is in place. Mike is a great tuner and really hooked my car up.

If you don't want to do the mail tune, and you don't feel like a road trip to Georgia, then there's always FROST (screen name on tech) and he's in Virginia. Shoot him a PM.

Best of luck.

Vector is ****, stay away from the entire operation. Steve at Vector is a tool, Kirk might be a good tuiner, I sadly never got a chance to find out. Steve on the other hand, left my car stalling and bucking so bad the car was almost un-drivable.

My reccomendation... Frost / Steve Williams / www.tunedbyfrost.com

TJ at baker can do it or I believe Ty Mason a local guy here can do it, both have dyno jets.

My car has been tuned by Kirk at vector for years....every set up I have had. I have always had great luck with kirk and no issues with how my car performs or drives at all. I would go to Vector but I see steve has now four bad reports on this site. So,I would go there and have kirk tune it and if steve tries to,I would tell them kirk or nobody does the job. I wonder if Kirk looks on this site,I see steve getting a bad rep on here.

Mike I've heard good things about Kirk too. However, with that being said when I wanted something looked at a few years ago I couldn't even get a call back. Maybe things have changed. The whole Steve situation sounds REALLY BAD. Avoid that guy like the plague. (comment based on several members posts on him)

My vote is Livernois. Others are entitled to their opinions. I'm posting mine.
Here's a look at the quickest single turbo small block on 10.5's in the world...owned,
driven, and tuned by Dan Millen of Livernois...the same guy that will tune your car.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFHquTIPI2k

This kind of experience is extremely rare and you're not going to find it many places.

This is Dan's personal car:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uRLb...eature=related

He's no stranger to the LSx platform considering he's owned plenty of them and tuned thousands
of them. My personal favorite of his LSx vehicles was the turbo Escalade built by Livernois.

Best of luck to you with your ride regardless of who tunes it.

I agree with all. But,kirk really is a great tunner and has done my car and my buds with no problems. I did see steve one time, and heard great things about him.....seems there may be more bad then good. I will still go to kirk and if he is the tunner would tell others to use him too. I really have no idea why he had this guy tunning in his shop when he is so good. If this don't stop he may loose alot of buisness in the future because of steve.
DOUG-Kirk don't really call people back, that is still an issue. You have to get him and stay on him,but he's a good guy.

This guy is the best tuner in Michigan that I know of. I just moved from there in January and regularly went over to the Detroit area to do tuning because my friends over there had tried the bigger shops with terrible results. I do believe Livernois has improved quite a bit since then though and since Wheel 2 Wheel is gone that would be the only one in that area to recomend. Either way hands down if you wanted your vehicle tuned in Michigan I'd no doubt be going to Baker Engineering and having TJ do it.

I sure wish I'd have known about BAKER back when I first started modding (2004)

How long has BAKER been around and how long has TJ been tuning?
