PSJ, Just for what it is worth, I think it is blown, If it is, It was due to me not checking my TQ on my head studs, and pushing a bit of water.
My car is tuned to a flat 11-1 A/F.
If i could post it i would. Acualy, i stopped printing out dyno sheets a long time ago, But that is beside the point.
My comments are constructive. They are questions and comments. Thats why this board is here right? For commenting?
And why is it no one reads what i said that is good.
The cars do rip!!!!! Ive also congrad them on times and #'s!!!
But that doesnt matter. Only the bad does.

Thats odd, I thought that Brent told me in a PM that he was running a Meziere Water pump and he didn't think he gained anything from it. If memory serves me correctly he said that he didnt see any track or dyno difference. I know there something going on with his intake because everytime we ask about it there is a feeling that its a secret.

Frankly Phil's recent 10.7 pass all the more shows how fast these cars can get with the right combo of parts and an aggressive driver (7000 rpm launch).

No kidding. I read a lot of people as saying that F-bodies will launch better and drag better than C5's..... but I tell you I've seen far more H/C NA C5's in the 10's especially recently than any F-bods. The weight on the vette's part really is helping under these circumstances IMO. I wish my piggish WS6 weighed 3200 lbs.

Thanks for the generous words. My car going 10s wasn't really in the combo but more in the heads/bowls. I dont think that most of the heads available on the market don't have the potiental to go 10s. After I had my heads cleaned up they were more consistent across the board. IMO thats the key. Not the Cam, not the headers but the cylinder heads.

Its clear that Cartek has the heads worked out as they flow insane and coupled with the right cam it will lay down serious HP. I would be willing to bet that the cartek heads have more consistency from runner to runner than other brands. Knowing that an engine is an Air-pump its a no-brainer, the more air your cylinder heads flow without sacrificing port volume its a win win situtation.

My cylinder heads aren't even optimized IMO. I am probably going to pull them off and work the bowls some more and make the runners slightly smaller.

Just to set the record straight here's how I launch. Stage, Rev to 6k, Let the clutch out until its ready to grab, as the lights come down I feed the gas as I release the clutch, launch occurs somewhere between 6500-7000. There's nothing on my car that is a secret.

I would again like to send some props out to Cartek as they have an awesome combo to sell.

Oh and my car weighs 3320 with no fuel or driver. This setup can be easily duplicated.

Anyone care to guess what the new Cartek package would do a on a built short block with coatings on the pistons/heads etc with say less than 2 percent leak down across? the board?

Hmmm....sounds to me that a 500rwhp stock displacement package is already here...with a few tweaks and an LSX or the new GMPP single plane LS1/LS6 carb intake. The carb intake can also be set up with TB and port fuel injection.

I just congratulate Cartek, I know my MTI Heads are in the 420+ range @ over 105,000 miles, but man..almost 500 NATURALLY ASPIRATED horsepower from a 346....screw the new Cobra's...oh yeah they can make supra stupid power but this power seems to be USEFULL and doesn't take a friggin built bottom end or forged internals to do it.

I say way to go!!!!! Wish I had the cash and a new bottom end to support the RPMS...hell I probably wouldn't even go over 6800 rpm just for longevity...but ur still 470ish HP....I mean dang...who can't say that's a great set up.

Congrats and continue the good work!!

Yeeesh guys, lighten the **** up. The car is making 350RWHP at 3000RPM!!! and the curve may not that flat, but seriously the curve looks good enough to make up the track times. Show me the graph of most head and cam combos and they may not have that much more torque at the wheels at that RPM (I may be wrong but...)
