Default Dynoed my 2000 Camaro SS a4 today. Very pleased with the results.

I finally decided to give up on learning HPTuners and decided to take it in and get it professionaly dyno tuned, and I'm glad I did. I went in there expecting lower numbers considering I have a stalled auto but I was suprised with the results.

Mods:
MTI lid
LPP LT's
TSP Catted Y
Cutout
Magnaflow
P&P stock tb
LS6 Intake (i dont consider this a mod really since it comes standard on 01-02)
3200 Edge Racing converter
transgo hd2 shift kit
stock 3.23 gears

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VusDmSh61Fc

It dyned at 350rwhp/365rwtq.

I honestly was expecting numbers as low as 330 considering the auto but am very pleased with how my car performed

I used to have td's and sure am glad i switched to the convensional y pipe since it seems to have dynoed very well without them. I also expected the numbers to be a little low since i had cats as well but they didnt seem to hurt anything.

these numbers seem a little high for a exhaust auto car, is this true?

it was a dynojet. but according to the shop owner, their dyno usually reads a little lower compared to other dynos. he was a little surprised with my numbers because of this.

Is it just me or does everyone's dyno read lower than everyone else's dyno?

Either way, good numbers.

I made 354/366 w/ similar mods to you. We seem to be right on par IMO.

well in truth, i have asked people who have dynoed at lmr compared to other shops around the area, they dynoed lower at lmr in similar weather compared to the others so it may possibly be true. granted, i dont care either way because a dyno is just a tool to properly tune a car so it doesn't matter lol.

thanks

yes i have them. ill post up the dyno graph when i stop being lazy. but its basically 7hp/tq lower, but i think he may have loaded a baseline tune before he dynoed it with the stock tune.

Those are sweet numbers man. Very nice for the mods you have. I bet it feels good on the street.

Thanks for sharing. We didn't get to do a base line dyno on our 11 second SS with all the bolt-ons before the LS6 long block and custom baby cam swap, but I guessed them to be lose to yours.

Major props!

it feels okay james, except anything below 45mph my car blows through the GS-D3s so i cant tell how it really feels. my next mod is definitely some DR's because this stall has really woken up the car haha.

Yes sir you will need a set of Nitto 555Rs at least.

A converter turns the car into a whole different animal.

my 02 Z28 A4 with just a lid, catback, ported tb, ls6 intake, longtubes, ory, and magnaflow catback with shitty 2.73 had a baseline of 322/333.
