Default Basic Mods, 217*/228*, A4, Mustang Dyno, tuned by Mike Norris Motorsports...

I bought my car about 4 weeks ago. It's pretty tame for now, it's an 01' Z-28, it has an SLP "flo-pack", GM "hot cam" 217/228, .525/.525, Pacesetter's, y-pipe, SLP "dual-dual" catback and 3.42's w/an aluminum d. shaft, RPM Transmissions Level 4 - 4L60E, Coan single disc converter. It had a "street" tune on it from another tuner (before the trans/converter, which RPM installed today), but I wanted to give it a try on a dyno with Mike Norris Motorsports, since he was going to tune the trans anyhow.

With the converter locked, it made a baseline of 350rwhp / 348rwtq. 2 pulls later, it made 382rwhp / 379rwtq.

He set it to lockup at 105mph under w.o.t. We plan to test it locked and unlocked at the track, as well as the shift points and a few things. The torque management was also in full-swing when we started and that has been removed. The car feels allot different. I am very happy with it and can't wait to see what it'll do on a tire this spring.

Thanks...

Good numbers for a Mustang dyno. Keep us posted with track results. Our mods are pretty similar so it will be interesting to compare. I've never dynoed mine yet.

Definitely will do.

I'm anxious to see what it puts down locked & unlocked on a Dynojet. Our tracks don't open until April, but I plan to go as soon as they open.
