cam only dyno'd 11/27

well, went to the dyno day at TDC in mobile this past saturday and ended up puttin down 401hp/386lb.ft.. its a cam only car with longtubes, dumped x-pipe setup, and lid. what do yall think? good numbers or bad? opinions??

WSsick Nov 29, 2010 03:51 PM

What cam? Numbers aren't anything special, but nothing to be worried about. Sounds like a healthy cam only LS1. :)

Also a dyno sheet would be nice...

I would assume its tuned, and it must be a good size cam to break 400 without full boltons

Interested in Cam info and dyno sheet

Not too much missing...EWP and an UD pulley. Guys with 228s and even some lower have broke 400rwhp. From the good torque number, I would guess it's not too big. I could be wrong though.

No ported TB either. That and the UDP are usually 10-20rwhp depending on the car. I dont consider EWP or a FAST required for full boltons but I remember the days before they were even out for the LS1's lol.

MAYBE 15hp tops for all of it, more likely 10. You can't just say "this is worth 10, this is 5 and this is 5 so = 20." Mods don't get added together like that, they work together. Otherwise we'd be seeing 370-380rwhp bolt-on cars, and that's just funny if you think that's possible.

^^ wish it was like that lol. would be excellent ftw
