Just got some more tuning done. The car seems to be running a lot stronger, I'm no longer having the weird shifting issues that I was having, and the cold startup problems with reverse seem to be fixed. Jayson went ahead and claibrated the speedo for the 3.73 gears that I will be installing tomorrow, and I went ahead and ordered some LCA's and relocation brackets. I would like to thank Jayson for taking the time to help me out today with the issues I had. I will have more track numbers for you guys next Sunday if the weather holds up.

Good numbers, especially considering it is setup for nitrous

27rwhp is a pretty big difference regarless if one head is off the shelf and the other is hand ported IMO....

JFM made about 430rwhp with absolute heads on his auto, but with a g5x2 cam through full exhaust....

I'm sure he would have made 440rwhp with a g5x3, but regardless, patriot #'s with a CNC head seem to be inline with this absolute head?

Cammin, these heads seem to be making good power when they aren't having problems. Power doesn't seem to be in question with these heads (when done right), quality is.

Verbs, power is as questionable as the quality locally. I have quite a few friends who are less than impressed with their investment........ I just keep quiet as to not BASH em since I personally dont run the heads...

BTW IMO

CNC'd heads they are not always exactly the same. Core shift can vary from casting to casting or even port to port. Blending is done by hand on both CNC'd and hand ported heads. Terry also mentioned he does a little hand touch up on the exhaust on the PP LS6 style heads. Due to those factors CNC isn't always exactly the same with the factory heads were all working with. This can be why CNC'd heads can have some variances in them.

Actually, JFM made 446 with a G5X2, unlocked with a dying tranny

Well, the cam stays the same and the only mechanical varible is the heads, so... draw your own conclusions

Nice numbers...and those ET Streets prolly cost you some power on the dyno. My old car only dynoed 400rwhp but ran 122 through the traps (more like 460hp). But when I dynoed and tuned the car, it was through a nitrous converter, 12-bolt, ET Streets, etc.

Point is, the car's setup can affect the dyno numbers.
