OP .... I don't mean to sway off your topic, but what are you running for suspension mods? We are similar n/a power and I realize I am an M6 and you're an auto, but I am shopping for mine before my S60 comes in and am curious what is working for you.

Went to the track today but only got 2 runs in. The stock trans was slipping badly. I knew it wasn't going to last long. Best run was a 10.79 @ 125 with a 1.56 60ft. on motor. I wasn't about to try to spray it with trans acting the way it was. I was very pleased with the times considering the trans problems.
I'd like get some more details on that engine. We are using the same heads and your cam is similar. My engine isn't together yet so I won't speculate on what it will do but I am looking for low 10's on the motor and into the mid 9 on the spray. LS2 402ci, trickflow 215cnc heads opened up to 4" bore and installing bigger intake valves. Ported Fast 90mm intake and NW TB. 246/255-605/632@113LSA EPS cam Speced by Geoff. 12.3-1 DRC using pump gas. Th350 tranny with 5000-5500rpm stall with 28" tires and full suspension. Strange 12-bolt with 4.11 rear gear. race weight is going to be 3460lbs. What size intake valves di you guys go with and what is the DCR on the motor? Thanks man..

UMI adjustable T/A, lca's, and panhard bar. Still have stock springs and shocks but they are next to be upgraded. Running 275/50-15 M/T drag radials.

Yeah sounds like our builds are pretty similiar. We went with a 2.08" intake valve and i'm not sure on the DCR, will have to call and ask. All motor pulls were made on pump gas and nitrous pulls were made with C-12 in the stand-alone. My car weighs around 3700lbs. with me in it and I expect it to run 10.60s-10.50s on motor once i get the trans issues fixed and a few more passes on it.

Trans or tunnel mounted T/A? Which of UMI's LCA's?

Any rubbing or mods required for your 275/50's? 10" wheels with 7.5" bs?

Trans mounted T/A, tubular lca's with poly bushings, and no mods required for the tires. Wheels are 8" Weld Pro Stars with 5.5" bs.

Cool man.. Did you change the exhaust valve size to? Thanks again man for all your help..

Allan did my last motor. Do yourself a favor and check out all your stuff to make sure everthing is where it should be. I know this wasn't Allans doing but I had a few things screwed up on my car which cost me some big money in the long run. I still have A/C in the car and who ever reinstalled the motor put the A/C compressor discharge line under the pully instead of on top the compressor where it belonged. A/C went out and had to fix it. Also they swapped 2 cooling lines around. The TB bypass that connects right under the radiator cap was placed on top of the cap where the overlow tubing should have been and the overflow tubing was where the TB bypass should have been causing my engine to vapor lock and overheat. Hense the reason the new motor is coming together so fast.. LOL Like I said Allan is famous for is knowledge on these engines and really knows his crap just remember no matter how good a shop may be they can still make mistakes.

We didn't change the exhaust valves, still running the 1.57". Thanks for the heads up, everything looks to be in its place. No problem, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Did Larry Meaux actually do any port work on your trick flow 215cnc heads or did he just open the chambers and install the bigger intake valves? Sorry for all the questions bro and thanks again for all the help.

You should of had him port the Fast also, there's 10-15 rwhp in doing that, but the intake has to be mocked up on the heads and some material has to come out of them to do it right. Congrats on the results!
