What to expect from my 4.10's??
 

I am heading to the 1/4 mile tomorrow and was wondering what y'all think ill pick up.
*4.10's
*No cats
*Ram Air Hood/Box
Before, on 2.73's, I was running
*13.8 consistenly
*2.12 60'
*Trapping 104

with a good tire and nice launch you should get 1.89-1.91 60ft. trap about 108 and pick up 4/10 thats about what i got out of my last one. 13.3 would be a safe bet, get a stall and put that bitch on a diet and you'll be turning 12s all day long. let us know how you do

So my fastest pass was 13.41 at very consistent 2.05x 60'. My highest speed was 106.2

4.10 is a lot of gear for a a4 stock motor. My boy had a borla catback,3.73 and a lid. his a4 went 12.8 in the 1/4mi. My car went 13.4 100% stock,m6 trans. and 12.9 with a lid,filter and cooler t-stat. I think you went too much gear. it will eat gas and kill your top speed on the highway. if you can't hook,it was a wast. Good luck to ya.

going from 2.73's to 4.11 I gained nothing at the track. Converter time.

I think 3.73's and a tune will make a huge difference. My car with 2.73 gears, ran high 12's with the same mods as you except with a tune.

I guess I was off a little.. lol..
