Usually that's more of a valve control issue from not enough spring pressure. The OP's cam was on LSL lobes which need a lot of spring to keep the valves stable past 6k.

My build was identical, but I went with AI's less aggressive lobes, ran single PSI beehives, and mine was stable right up to the 6800 rev limiter.
