Nice build! I'm doing something similar in my third gen with a 4.8, 76 mm turbo and ls9 cam. Mounted turbo in the same spot you did. Where did you find room for the wastegate?

plenty of room for a wastegate coming off of the merge, even have a dump pipe on it too

Is the merge right at the turbo? I guess mine is a little different because my manifolds are upside-down

would appear to be from a chassis dyno run..If so, REALLY impressive!

the math works for an engine dyno, not so much for a chassis dyno.

say 325hp in stock form with 6psi is 457 at the most. At the flywheel. thats why i assumed it was an engine dyno.

these numbers are on a chassis dyno, and are wrhp numbers. NOT engine numbers

Turbo-Got for 50$ from a buddy
Intercooler and piping-250
Bov-105
Wastegate-320
3.5" and 2.5" stainless for hotside-180
Oil drain/feed-75
Misc.-100ish

So probably just over 1000 for the turbo parts.

Spent 400 on the motor
550 on 83lb injectors and a DW pump
240 on the brand new cam
300 for a set of 317's to be ported and milled for 9.3cr
What about the $1,000 Fast Intake & TB set up?

I was just refering to the COMPLETE cost of the actual set up you are running, incase someone wanted to duplicate your build.

So all in all you have around $3,500 in the parts in the motor, including the cost of the engine it's self.

I'm about to do one of these builds with my '81 Camaro. I won't be using any FAST products though...just an ls6 intake and cam. I may upgrade the tb though. I'm looking to push more than 6psi through mine though so theoretically I should be able to get more than 600hp to the wheels and that would be awesome!

Here is a few short clips in 2nd and third gear just getting into boost a little to hear my whistle ha. Nothing crazy or any 100% throttle pulls but here is an idea of what it sounds like with the cut open (3.5" downpipe open under the passenger seat with no muffler)
