Love it! cant wait to see the new numbers to come.... I have a 5.3 in my T/A that I want to turbo in a while. I just got a built tranny that can hold up to it so after the tranny goes in thats next on the list. Your car gives me some motivation!

Did you just use the stock 5.3 exhaust manifolds flipped and swapped?

well the ones that came from my motor i am using had the EGR setup on them, so i got a set of manifolds from a 2007 truck without the egr.. But yes they are just flipped backwards

I'm doing the exact same setup in my Z here very soon, only with a 76mm and a pretty stock 5.3 with a ls6 cam, I'm hoping with the cam I can make a little more power!

Nice little setup btw!

Have you thought about pushing it to 10-12lbs before swapping heads/cam? Just curious how that turbo would work with a little more boost

I would be interested to see how far you could take this setup on the stock cam/heads with the correct supporting fuel system.

Default nice

great numbers at the tires, as for the ebay gt45.. should be 1.05 on the ex ar. and yes they hold up well. mine has been daily driven for the last couple of years. every once in a while it will get a full throttle pull and my numbers on a conventional sb are short of what the ls can produce.
