Default Patriot 5.3 and F11 dyno numbers

finally got my car tuned a norris motorsports (who did a great job and im very impressed)

final numbers are 404.5 hp and 392.2 ftlbs

kinda wish the power was higher but VERY happy with the torque, ill get the graphs up later.

mods: pp 5.3's cut .015, fm11 112 cam, macs, asps, custom ypipe and exhaust, bolts ons, etc

this was through full belts and exhaust

uncapping the cutouts yielded 410.5 hp and 400.4 ftlbs, but the dyno cut off at 5600 and we couldnt get it to work after that. torque had already peaked but based on the other graphs, hp would have ended up in the low 420's (gained 13-14 hp from 5600-6200 with the caps closed)

overall im very happy and i would like to thank mike norris a ton.

nice numbers. i'm especially impressed with the torque. those fms cams seem to have great torque curves.

This is the cam im waiting for to arrive. Decent numbers. Great torque numbers! Do you think the macs are holding it back? The cam is slightly exhaust biased so id imagine the exhaust needs all the help it can get.

i think the flowcrapper muffler is hindering the hp a bit based on the uncapped numbers, but it sounds so damn good its not coming off (not the catback, its a 3.5" single in single out race muffler)

and it is an m6

I was looking at another thread and saw that someone who has an ARE stage 1 package also put out around 394tq, but with 425 hp. Id imagine thats what your pulling now with a cutout or a better catback.

Hum, kinda thought it might be higher w/ heads. Maybe I'm wrong. I run a 228/228 .571.571 112lsa. torque is nice though my #'s are below.

403rwhp, 378wtq ( NA*)
12.531 @113.37mph (NA*)
524rwhp, 573rwtq (n2o*)
11.931 @121.81mph (n2o*)
this is from your site, just to show how much faith not to put in dyno numbers, you dynoed 403 and went 113 mph, i went 120.3 when i dynoed 390

yea ok, now where do you live, and what elivation are you at... that day at the track the DA outside was 3500ft what are you, sea level? And those track times were at 380rwhp motor. not w/ the lsx i have now, i haven't ran w/ it yet.
Sounds to me like your at 500-1000ft. that would make a HUGE difference.
And those n2o #'s are w/ out the lsx also.

Hmmm I'm not sure those heads are working well for you. My friend put down 409hp/390tq today, cam only. Just the F11 and pacesetter headers. Iy makes geting a set of heads seem a little pricey for that kind of gain.

I just dynoed today, O2 SS with all the bolt on's and the F11 on a 112. Tuned by Allan Futral at dynolab in Atlanta. After tuning it laid down 408/390 3 pulls in a row (This was with 4.10's in the 10 bolt 17x11 with 315's).
