LS6 with Milled 317's I helped a buddy build an engine for his 00' Camaro Z28. Here are some specs: LS6 short block Flycut the pistons Comp Custom grind 238/244 586/596 114lsa cometic .040 head gaskets ported polished 317's milled .060", Professional products 96mm intake and fast 92mm tb asp underdrive pulley 1-3/4 pacesetter headers 3" true duals through raceline bullets stock maf blackwing air lid k&n ait filter ford redtop injectors racetronix pump and hot-wire kit Stage 2 Tdp t56 4.10 gears 26" m/t et drags Car was pulled up to 6300 rpm's and made 464 rwhp. After that power seemed to start dropping and we figured out it had some valve float. We are switching over to a shorter pushrod and see what it does. Also Maf was acting funny so also replacing it. We think the motor has a little more left in it we just have to fix the little issues. We are very happy with the results. |
