Default 2001 SS cammed LS3 swap (video added)

Stock LS3 out of 2009 Vette
Stock LS3 heads
LS3 Intake, Fuel Rails, and Injectors
92mm Fast Throttle body
Pat G camshaft: 230/238 .600 .615 113+3 LSA
Patriot Extreme valve springs
Comp Cams Push-rods
Comp Cams Rocker Arm Trunion upgrade
Pace setter long tube no cats
LS7 Clutch
Stock Fuel pump
Lingenfelter Conversion box
Fast EV1-EV6 adapter harness

467rwhp 444rwtrq

I think it may have a few restrictions still (slp lid, stock fuel pump, stock maf, 1 3/4 headers, Crappy design y pipe) but the cam drives amazing. So close to stock. Haven't had it to the track yet I'll have those times up eventually

I want to thank Pat G for helping me chose the cam, Geoff at EPS for helping me get it as fast as possible and Sam Smith at Sullivan Inc who built and tuned the car this time. Usually I do my own work but didn't have the time this year or the tools to pull the motor.

I think you really should invest in a fuel pump before anything else...

Good results!!

very nice, and you have some options as to how you go about getting more , very nice setup , jealous . i bet you could get 485 out of it , with a bigger lid, maf , better y pipe ,and pump . Then heads down the road, **** you will be at 520 rwhp.

Nice setup. Im looking into swapping in a cammed LS3 into my car. That LS7 eats up about 10rwhp over other clutches. A set of 1-7/8 Lts would help out too. Alot of potential left in that motor. Nice numbers though.

What's awesome about this transplant to me is the fact that it hits 400 ft. lbs. at 3,600 rpm and builds and carries to redline. Nice, broad torque curve perfect for the street!

Casey - Are you still on the stock 3.42, 10 bolt? If not, what rear and gear ratio are you running?

Thanks.

That is really nice. I would love an LS3 in my 4th gen.

Great numbers and you have so much room to grow into even bigger numbers if you wanted to. I would probably be happy with it as is.

dyno pull was pretty good! You have anymore videos of the car with its current setup? I planning on getting a stock ls3 longblock for little under $2500 from a buddy of mines, my goal is to stall & cam only for now, & maybe throw in 100shot later.

Yeah I would just pull the heads port them, get a better lid and y pipe and install a fuel pump. But it's plenty fast for a street car now so maybe down the road.

I'll take some and post them up for you. I got my long block for $2500
