2000 Camaro, a4 3500 stall, 373 gears, stock heads stage 3 pp, cam, ls6 intake, pp tb, udp , 1 3/4 headers, 3" ory, slp loud mouth exhaust, nitto drag radials, I've got suspension mods coming, what's next for more power n/a? putting nitrous on it in the spring?

I think thats pretty obvious....

A.set of trick flow 225s or AFR 230s

ok what else, maybe a fast 102 and a 102 tb? or would that be to much?

Tainted Jan 29, 2013 08:57 PM

The fast 102 intake would be great, but the 102tb is too much. In reality, a 90-92mm tb is all most people will ever need.

ok good info. I didn't know that. what about the prc 227 heads, seems to be a lol better choice from what I've read for the ls1?

Tainted Jan 30, 2013 07:35 AM

Prc makes nice heads, I bought the aftermarket ls3s for my 408.
It really depends on your budget though and what you want, some AFR or trick flow heads would be really nice.

will a 90-92 tb bolt up to the ls6 intake i have now?

Tainted Jan 30, 2013 06:00 PM

i dont think so, you'd have to port the opening of the ls6

What about a super charger and a lil nitrous?

If you plan to spray it this year, save your money for a possible rebuild, all you would likely need to make it plenty strong is forged pistons, possibly lifters, rod bolts, oil pump, bearings and timing chain. That would make it very reliable.

Any project I have ever done, I leave 30% for what ever the new power breaks. If I figure I need $10k, I will make $13k my budget. Every time I needed it. Drive shaft, clutch, differential, bigger injectors, fuel pump. All of those were, add ons to projects with in a month of completion.
